Ahhh, modifications. Undoubtedly one of the reasons Miatas are so much fun to own. Of course driving is the number one source of fun, but making that drive even more fun is the chance to "customize" your Miata with a few of literally hundreds of aftermarket options. This is a list of the mods I have done, the ones that I am planning, and the ones that I think are cool but there is a fat chance of me ever doing them.
I should mention that I am absolutely, positively NOT mechanically inclined, so most of these will be professionally installed. I am marking the ones I did myself with a pair of sunglasses, just to let you know that if I did it, anyone can. Trust me. :)
An item you may want to consider buying if you are going to modify your car is the Mazda Factory Workshop Manual. Everything from wiring diagrams to drawings to listings of special tools. A must for the Miata mechanic!
